OVRDC and ODOT Partner for Regional Transportation Improvement Plan (RTIP)

The Ohio Valley Regional Development Commission (OVRDC), in partnership with the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT), will host an online review of the regional Transportation Improvement Plan (TIP) to encourage public comment on the plan. Representatives will be available by phone or email to answer questions and discuss the region’s 2021-2024 Plan for ODOT programmed projects.

The Regional Transportation Improvement Plan (RTIP) is a schedule of transportation projects and improvements in the OVRDC transportation planning area. The RTIP includes improvements to highways, public transit, bikeways, pedestrian facilities, bridges, traffic signals and other aspects of transportation systems.

In the past, ODOT and OVRDC have hosted in person public meetings, but due to the Governor’s recent announcement in response to the public health emergency, public meetings are being restricted. For this reason, the public comment period will be held online only.

The public can provide input online and via phone or email to Stephanie Gilbert, OVRDC Transportation Planning Coordinator. The RTIP will be available online for public review and comment beginning on March 30, 2020 HERE.  The comment period will remain open through Sunday, April 12, 2020. If you have any questions regarding these meetings, please contact Stephanie Gilbert, OVRDC Transportation Coordinator at 740-947-2853. OVRDC is a Regional Transportation Planning Organization (RTPO).

YOUR INPUT IS VALUED.  PLEASE COMMENT ONLINE MARCH 30 – APRIL 12, 2020.
