OVRDC Accepting Nominations for Regional Excellence Awards
WAVERLY, OHIO — The Ohio Valley Regional Development Commission (OVRDC) is now accepting nominations for its new Regional Excellence Awards, which will be presented during the Fall 2026 Full Commission Meeting.
The awards were created to recognize the individuals, organizations, and projects making a meaningful impact across the OVRDC region through leadership, collaboration, and community development.
Three awards will be presented:
Regional Leadership Award
Recognizing an individual who has demonstrated exceptional leadership and dedication to improving communities within the OVRDC region.
Regional Partnership Excellence Award
Honoring a partner organization that has shown outstanding collaboration and commitment to advancing regional development priorities.
Regional Impact Project Award
Recognizing an outstanding project that has created significant and lasting benefits for a community or the region as a whole.
“Across our region, there are incredible people, partnerships, and projects making a difference every day,” said Stephanie Gilbert, Executive Director of OVRDC. “These awards provide an opportunity to celebrate the leadership and collaboration that continue to strengthen our communities and move the region forward.”
OVRDC encourages nominations from local governments, nonprofit organizations, educational institutions, businesses, community groups, and residents throughout the region.
