NRAC Clean Ohio Council Methodology Meeting

The Clean Ohio NRAC Council will meet on June 22, 2023, to discuss methodology for applications in the upcoming Round 18 award cycle. The meeting will be held at 10 a.m. at the Ohio Valley Regional Development Commission (OVRDC) office located at 73 Progress Drive in Waverly.

The Clean Ohio Program is administered by the Ohio Public Works Commission and is dedicated to the acquisition and improvement of natural green space areas, riparian corridors, and waterways within Appalachian Ohio. We aspire to preserve the natural beauty of our region and to render these areas accessible to the public. The fund can also help to restore the beauty of our region through its willingness to treat areas affected by invasive species.

The purpose of a methodology meeting is to modify or otherwise accept our current methodology for scoring, ranking, and recommending applications to the OPWC. Our current methodology is posted on their website (here). You may decide to attend this meeting to gain insight regarding how to submit a competitive application or to learn about the types of properties the council finds to be beneficial to the region.

The meeting is open to all who wish to attend. If you wish to attend, contact Isaac Dixon at idixon@ovrdc.org or at (740) 947-2853. You may join in person or choose to join virtually, and in this case, instructions on how to do that will be provided to you.
