OVRDC is requesting proposals for Transportation-Related Safety/Feasibility Studies.
The Ohio Valley Regional Development Commission (OVRDC), a Regional Transportation Planning Organization, is issuing a request for proposals for transportation-related feasibility and/or safety study proposals. Selected studies will be conducted by OVRDC or consultants contracted by OVRDC or in conjunction with ODOT.
Interested entities should submit a proposal for a Transportation-Related Feasibility and/or Safety Study limited in scope so that the estimated study cost is less than $20,000. Consideration will be given to studies over $20,000 if an immediate safety concern is identified. Click here for a list of OVRDC Safety Feasibility Studies that have been funded in the past.
Proposals need to be transportation-focused and directly related to a specific transportation-related project.
Suggested focus areas include:
- Active Transportation
- School Travel Plans
- Economic Impact
- Traffic Count/Analysis
- Complete Streets
Please be advised, studies cannot include engineering (i.e. final plans, final specifications, construction, etc.).
Proposals will only be accepted from entities located within the OVRDC Regional Transportation Planning Organization region. Eligible counties include Adams, Brown, Fayette, Gallia, Highland, Jackson, part of Lawrence, Pike, Ross, Scioto and Vinton.
