OVRDC has opened a new round of available funding for the Surface Transportation Block Grant (STBG) program SFY26 & SFY27. OVRDC STBG funds can be used for roadway projects that occur on federal-aid eligible routes within the OVRDC RTPO region. There are a few project exceptions to that rule that would also be eligible for these program dollars. The exceptions include bike/ped, transit, safety, and non-highway freight projects.

Your feedback matters during the public comment period to help determine the final approval of projects. Please review the list of proposed projects for funding through the Surface Transportation Block Grant (STBG) program.

The deadline to submit feedback is June 27, 2025, by 4:00 p.m.  Additional comments will not be considered after this date/time.

The OVRDC STBG Capital Program Summary chart shows a list of the projects that have been awarded funding. Since the program started in 2022, the OVRDC STBG funding program has invested a total of $4.95 million dollars in transportation improvement projects in the region.
