Village of Mt. Orab Groundbreaking for SR32 Interchange

OVRDC was on hand last week for the ODOT District 9 groundbreaking ceremony to celebrate the beginning of construction on the Brown County State Route 32/Brooks Malott Interchange near the Village of Mt. Orab. The interchange upgrade will help alleviate safety concerns along that section of the corridor. OVRDC has supported the project along its development timeline, including listing the project in the 2045 Comprehensive Transportation Improvement Plan, and attending preliminary planning meetings and a letter of support.

“We’re glad the project is moving forward. OVRDC is supportive of safety improvements along SR32, which is a major economic development corridor in our region,” said John Hemmings, OVRDC Executive Director.
