Now Accepting Request for Proposals (RFP) Brownfield Recovery Coordinator

The Ohio Valley Regional Development Commission is issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) for a Brownfield Recovery Coordinator for Lawrence and Scioto Counties in Ohio. All interested parties, persons, firms or groups must submit a proposal electronically by 12:00 pm EST on May 15, 2020.

OVRDC is requesting proposals from experienced firms, groups, or individuals to perform brownfield recovery coordinator duties in Lawrence and Scioto Counties in Ohio. This is a contract-based position and the selected contractor shall be responsible for all expenses incurred while performing services. Compensation which shall include related expenses will be negotiated but will include consideration for experience.

This RFP is issued as part of the project partnering with The Ohio University Voinovich School and OVRDC through the EDA’s Assistance to Coal Communities program. The project is called the Building Opportunities Beyond Coal Acceleration Transition (BOBCAT) Network. The BOBCAT Network is a regional development project that promotes entrepreneurship, supports economic diversification, and identifies infrastructure and workforce needs in Southern Ohio.
