This map has Mapillary integration. Mapillary is a community-sourced, street-level imagery service. Anyone with a smartphone can generate images and even create map data. There are many roads yet to capture in our region, so grab your smartphone and start collecting awesome street level images for southern Ohio!

This map shows revenue received from all permissive license plate fees by county in Ohio for 2015. This revenue can be used for "…planning, constructing, improving, maintaining and repairing public roads, highways, streets, and for the maintaining and repair of bridges and viaducts." (source: http://www.bmv.ohio.gov/links/bmv_Permissive_Tax_FAQs.pdf)

Many of the OVRDC counties show up low on the map scale due to not having permissive license plate fees enacted at the county level. In the OVRDC region, only Clermont, Fayette and Highland have increased their fees county-wide.

OVRDC is performing sidewalk collection for the major cities in our region. This map serves as a staging map for the proposed OSM sidewalk imports for each city.

This map presents a variety of demographic variable for block groups in Ohio. For all the demographic indicators (excluding population density), height and color intensity represents a percentage of the total block group population for that variable.

This map uses data from the U.S. Census Bureau, American Community Survey 2014 5-Year Estimates - Geodatabase Format (Accessed 9/1/16).

This map represents all crashes between 2013 and 2016 for the OVRDC RTPO region. Crashes are grouped in three year periods and can be viewed for 2013-2015 or 2014-2016. The heatmap and counts are only for the most current crash years.

To view the actual crash locations click the "Toggle Crashes" button.

Circle color intensity (from light to deep pink) relate to number of serious/fatal injuries for each indiviual accident.

This project was inspired by the NACo County Explorer and Census Reporter. It adds to these apps with additional geography and OVRDC-specific data. It is powered by Leaflet, Leaflet Choropleth and a variety of other Leaflet plugins.
